What is parent education?
Parent education classes are a once a week class lasting six to twelve weeks. These classes help parents in a variety of subjects such as growth and development, communication, stress and overall health.
Several agencies offer evidence-based parent education series throughout the year. Check the availability of the next session on your community calendar or a list of agencies under the resource guide.

Workshops- We collaborate with other community organizations to bring informational & educational workshops of a variety of key topics to parents.
Community Events- We'll bring the fun, you bring the kids! We participate in dozens of fun family oriented events throughout the year. Be sure to check your County's page to find your communities Calendar of Events.
Parent Support Activities- Child playgroups, books, information about child development, and literacy activities distributed through libraries, preschools, school districts and community events.
Community Resource Listings- We maintain a list of community resources available in each county. Visit the county page for each county to access a list of community organizations that can provide assistance and support to your family.
