Challenging behaviors in the classroom lead to staff burn out, and a negative educational experience for the child experiencing the
behaviors, and the other children in the class. We will explore Senate Bill 236, and the research behind it to understand why this topic is so
critical to the future of our children. Behavior is a form of communication, and in this course we will start to unravel what these children are
trying to communicate to us, and how we can give these children tools to help them become thriving citizens of our communities.
