I hope you find yourself at the start of a good week. Despite the lingering chill in the air we are nearing Spring, and getting ready for Spring PD Day, which is set for Friday, April 1, 2022 (April Fools Day) at the Four Rivers Cultural Center in Ontario, OR. While some of the professional development sessions will be held virtually, the majority will be in-person. The following are some important things to note:
· Registration is now open! However, please note the 2022 Spring PD Day Program is still in draft format, and subject to change. For sessions with Register Here links, please go ahead and register. The program will continue to be updated over the next two weeks. We still hope to add a session or two and we are still working on room assignments. I will send out weekly emails highlighting any updates.
· Pre-registration will still be required for all sessions. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Please register early if you are interested in a particular session. We will do our best to open up slots as space allows. Please continue to check back if a session fills initially.
· Lunch will be on your own from 11:30 - 12:30 PM; we will have a couple of food trucks on-site for your convenience. We will also have a double decker espresso bus available through lunch, if you'd like to purchase a drink.
· Just a reminder that the writing cohorts with Yolanda Westerberg have a prerequisite in order to attend. However, you can sign-up for one of the Spring refresher courses and join the group in 2022-23 if interested.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me anytime. Thank you for your time and we look forward to seeing you on April Fools Day in Ontario!
