Abriendo Puertas (Opening Doors)

Is a 10 week series that increases parent knowledge about early-literacy skills, child development, and family success.  Parents will learn valuable skills through sessions such as:


  • I am My Child’s First Teacher

  • My Child Grows

  • Reaching Family Success

Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors is a peer-to-peer training program that seeks to improve the confidence of parents to be strong and powerful advocates in the lives of their children. The Abrieno Puertas/Opening Doors curriculum is composed of 10 sesions, each based around a saying, or Ditcho, that provides a helpful framework for the week's topic.
